Sharing today, the magic of Jackie Evancho's Mega God-given talent. Awe-inspiring performances; so touching, heart-warming and in some cases, heart-wrenching.
Her performance of music really touches my heart, as I know it does countless others too, so I hope you enjoy a pick of some of my favourites today.
Jackie not only sings a song, she Lives it. She Becomes the song. She becomes the message of the story and it's energy/vibration, and she does this with the help of the astonishingly beautiful sounds emanating from her vocal chords, and the emotion held in her heart & soul. An old soul bringing forth a wisdom from another plane, with a child's innocence, purity and simplicity. A rare treasure.
She has a natural ability to tell a story musically to such perfection that one is riveted from start to finish, and often moved to tears by the purity of the emotion of the story, her "telling" of it, and the exquisitely beautiful musical tones brought forth in accompaniment through her vocal equipment, her heart & her soul.
As she has often said before, she feels possessed by the music when she sings; and she is. The music takes over and she lives it from a place somewhere deep inside; somewhere from a place connected to a Higher Plane.
She has said that she asks God before a performance, to sing with her; He must do, because the sound that then emanates from her can only be described as...Heavenly. One hears "God" in her voice, or as so many say, one hears an Angel sing. Her voice can go from sounding sweetly angelic, to a rich mind-blowing otherworldliness; but in both cases, seem to come from a different realm.
It is not only her voice though that impresses and have us in awe, but the whole package. It is her poise, her confidence, her personality, her professionality, her happy, playful spirit, her energy, her love & respect, not only for the music, but for life, people, animals, the earth, etc, in general that shines through her being, in the gentle way she is with everyone and everything.
Yes, she's a normal kid and even her brother says she can be "annoying,", "bratty," have Diva-moments, and "likes to shout at everybody all the time." But he also says that she is fun to be with, funny, loving and kind. An amazing young girl who always knew what she wanted and did not stop till she got to live her dream. And aren't we happy that she got to share that dream with us? I know that I certainly am! That voice! That talent, that persona. And angelic beauty to boot! How lucky can one little girl get!
And how lucky for us that we get to share in her being and amazing talents. A privilege and a pleasure, Jackie, thank you.
